Did you know that at peak training long distance racing sled dogs are burning up to 12,000 calories per day? For reference, that’s approximately 24 Big Macs! SJK sled dogs are fueled with thousands and thousands of pounds of meat and kibble, which is just one of the kennel’s largest expenses.

Just as much as the humans, the dogs appreciate any amount of support as this helps their musher to be able to spend as much time with them as possible 💙
